Ms. Brown brings experience garnered from leading SoCalGas, an organization of over 8,000 employees serving over 21 million natural gas consumers in Southern California, together with over 25 years’ experience in the energy industry across engineering, legal, policy and regulatory roles.
Prior to joining Sempra, the parent company of SoCalGas, in 2016, Ms. Brown was Assistant to Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress for Policy and Senior Energy and Environment Counsel and Chief Counsel, Energy and Power, to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Ms. Brown is Chair of the American Gas Association Foundation, and a member of the National Petroleum Council, U.S. Department of Energy and the Executive Committee of the California Chamber of Commerce.
